Oliver Marsden is an award winning journalist, photojournalist and videographer working globally but currently based in Beirut, Lebanon. Most recently he has been covering the Hezbollah/Israel war in Lebanon, the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, the Israel/Gaza conflict, the ongoing war in Ukraine, the Sudanese refugee crisis in Chad and the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan following the coalition withdrawal. His particular interests are the MENA and West Africa, covering conflict, humanitarian issues, civil unrest, and climate change. He has an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the LCC, studied Arabic at SOAS and news writing at the London School of Journalism. He has completed a 4-day Hostile Environment Training Course with First Option Safety.
